Table & Dining Furniture Removal in Middleton

Dining tables don't go quietly. Between the table itself, a set of chairs, and often a hutch or buffet that matches, a dining set is some of the bulkiest furniture we remove in Middleton. It rarely comes apart easy, and it rarely fits back through the doorway the way it went in.

Whether you're clearing a dining set from a newer home in Stonehaven or Carlton Meadows, or hauling a heavier solid-wood table out of an older place near Main Street, the job usually comes down to getting pieces out without putting a scratch in the floor, the wall, or the furniture you're keeping.

What the City Covers, and Where It Falls Short

Middleton residents on Republic Services curbside service can request a bulky item pickup for an additional fee, but the piece has to be set outside and visible for collection. That works for a chair or a small side table. It's a lot harder with a full dining set and a hutch that two people can barely carry.

The city's Spring Clean-Up week, held every spring, is a better fit for timing if it lines up — trash, bundles, and bulk non-Freon items go out free that week, and a dining table and chairs typically qualify. The catch is it only comes around once a year, and you're still the one getting everything to the curb.

If your timing doesn't line up with that week, or the pieces need to come out of a basement, up a staircase, or through a tight hallway, hiring it out usually saves more hassle than it costs.

What Moves the Job Up or Down

A single table is a quick job. A full dining set with a hutch and buffet is a different project, and a few things decide where in between yours falls.

• Solid wood tables and china hutches weigh a lot more than laminate or particleboard sets
• Glass table tops and hutch doors need to come out and get wrapped on their own
• Extendable tables with removable leaves take longer to break down and carry
• Stairs, narrow hallways, and tight doorways in older homes near Main Street add handling time
• Whether pieces go to donation, recycling, or Pickles Butte landfill off Missouri Avenue changes the trip

What Usually Comes Out of Middleton Homes

Middleton has two pretty different housing markets, and it shows in what we find. In newer subdivisions like the Estates at West Highlands, Stonehaven, and Carlton Meadows, dining sets tend to be lighter, newer builds that are easy candidates for donation if they're still in decent shape.

Out on the acreage along the Boise River, and in the older homes near downtown tied to Middleton's farming roots, you'll find heavier solid-wood tables and hutches — some worth refinishing or passing along rather than sending to the landfill. Solid wood holds up, and chairs can often be reupholstered instead of replaced.

A dining set is rarely a one-trip job in Middleton — it's a mix of pieces, some easy to move and some not, with a city bulky pickup, a once-a-year clean-up week, or a landfill run as your other options.
